About us

The Vishva Hindu Parishad of Australia (VHP Australia) is a community organization and its founding fathers established the organisation on the ideal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one large family). This vision is to spread the message of inter-dependence of human societies, nature and environment - "Harmony with the Creation". This cosmic harmony depends on Dharma. Dharma means eternal and universal values for the well-being of all.

VHP Australia believes in the principles of unity in diversity, social cohesion, multiculturalism, harmony, inclusiveness and pluralism in Australia. It serves the Hindu and the wider Australian community in partnership with the local councils, the Australian and state governments to promote peace, prosperity,  and economic benefits to Australia’s cultural diversity.

The service divisions of VHP Australia include Hindu Cultural Heritage Teaching Programme in Qld Public Schools, Hindu Social Services Foundation, Hindu Youth Australia and Vidya Vihaar(Education winning of VHP).
