Bala Samskar Kendra

The Bala Samskar Kendra (BSK) is part of the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) of Australia Inc. The BSK Queensland’s  objective is to teach children (ages 5 to 15) about the values of the Hindu Dharma, scriptures, Sanskrit and shlokas for ever day chanting.

Hindu Organisations, Temples, & Associations Forum

The aim of the Hindu Organisations, Temples, & Associations Forum (HOTA Forum) is to bring Hindu Mandirs (temples), organisations, associations, groups, and sampradayas, who are working for the Hindu resurgence on one common platform. Click here to know more.

BSK is run by dedicated volunteer parents and on a not-for profit basis.
BSK classes are held on Sundays (during school term) from 2.30 PM to 5.00 PM at the Sunnybank State High School (entry through Turton Road), Sunnybank.

Vinayaka Chathurthi Celebrations 2020

Bala Samskar Kendra, Queensland has been celebrating Vinayaka Chathurthi since 2010. Due to current circumstances around COVID-19 pandemic, and being mindful of the health and safety of our community, the Vinayaka Chathurthi Celebrations usually organized by BSK as a public event will not take place this year. However, like previous years, BSK will still provide eco-friendly clay Vinayakas for a nominal cost.

Following our guiding principles of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the world is one large family) and “Sewa Parmo Dharma” (service is the highest duty), the Queensland chapter of Vishva Hindu Parishad of Australia Inc. has taken the initiative of assisting those in need as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and in addition have collated the initiatives undertaken by various community organizations and businesses.
